Gulf Gate Hotel - Manama

Nice clean rooms. Entertainment options like karaoke and live music are fun. Loud music from clubs makes it hard to sleep.

The rooms were clean and cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It exceeded my expectations for a budget choice, especially with the nice buffet breakfast and convenient location near shopping areas.

An old rooms and furniture, poor room accessories, not comfortable bed, very cold in room and just a litte bit warm water insted of hot.

This place is not for a single woman traveling alone.

Every time I wanted to use the pool, I had to wait for more than 20 minutes to get a pool towel. In addition, I was asked to pay for a shuttle to the airport whereas other guests didn't have to pay.

Location next to Bahrain for the weekend, public areas, and center. For tea or coffee visit Saffron by Jena nearby.

I had a great time staying at Gulf Gate Hotel. The location was perfect, right near the city center. The staff provided really good service, and the breakfast exceeded my expectations. I did encounter a minor issue with the shower, but staff resolved it quickly.

It was good value for money with free airport transfer

rooms smell very bad which comes from the ac system, smells like a fusty bar throughout... very old and outdated rooms, furniture and the matress on the bed was like concrete...

I thoroughly enjoyed the charming vintage decor throughout the hotel with a cozy ambiance. The staff were friendly.

Good location. Swimming pool. Mostly large rooms. Hotel is currently under renovation. So be prepared for some noise/ paint smells. Apparently all rooms are being upgraded with new furniture and flatscreen TVs.

Don't expect 4 Star service or facilities, 3 stars are more like it. A lot of dust under the bed. Some hairs in the bathroom. No sink plug. Bad TV reception.

The views from my Single Room were awesome, especially of the Financial Port. Water bottles refilled daily, clutch! The hotel is super near the VFS Tasheer Visa Center.

Comfortable beds, but noisy nights

The staff's warm smiles greeted us daily, and the beds provided really good comfort, allowing restful nights amidst the bustling location.

The noise from nearby clubs made sleeping early quite a challenge, causing some restless nights.

This hotel was perfect, with friendly service and handy location near by city center mall. Location really close to 2 to 3 clubs, the market, and especially the soukh. Efficient check in and efficient check out. Everything terrific.

The location was convenient for exploring the area.

I was disappointed with the customer service . The receptionist refused to help me reserve a room, claiming they were full, even though I successfully booked online. The TV and Wi-Fi were not working, and I found the hotel support to be non-existent, leaving me stranded with unresolved issues.
